Locke said that's factually incorrect, because everyone has control over their posterity, i.e. how they are remembered by others. If a slave is weil remembered by others, the slave owner can't do a damn thing about it.
Trump is worried that he's lost control over his legacy with this Epsteinshit. He doesn't just want to cover it up now, he wants it to be forever. Otherwise he risks being remembered like Jimmy Saville. He's trying to use his powers as president to control his posterity and he's having a hard time. |
