Have you ever seen the Lone Wolf and Cub films? Samurai, not kung fu, but scratches the same itch

Roger Corman edited the first two movies into, essentially, a highlights reel for grindhouse audiences called Shogun Assassin, which might be a good place to start, but I went on a tear back when I had the Criterion channel and watched 5/6 of them
