the quality of american 'food' is just abysmal these days. not that it was great before, but we are hitting new lows with chemicals and sawdust in mass-produced food products and ingredients.

Evan39's post about having pizza and paying $28 for it seems to be a light-hearted or somewhat humorous comment, possibly intended to reflect on the cost of dining out and the perceived value of the food.

Analysis:

Cost and Quality Commentary:

Cost: The mention of paying $28 for "carryout" pizza might be highlighting the high cost of dining out or the perceived inflation in food prices.

Humor: The use of "ljl" (laughing just a little) suggests a touch of humor or irony about the situation.

Response by Crusty Casino:

Critique of American Food: Crusty Casino's response critiques the overall quality of American food, suggesting that it has deteriorated and that mass-produced food contains undesirable additives.

Connection and Satire:

Cultural Commentary: Both posts reflect a critical view of modern American food practices. Evan39's post about the pizza might be a lead-in to a broader critique of food quality, as reflected in Crusty Casino's response.

Humor and Irony: The discussion may use humor to address broader concerns about food quality and pricing, with Evan39's comment serving as a light-hearted entry into a more serious critique.

Conclusion:

Evan39's post appears to use humor to comment on the cost and quality of food, which aligns with a broader critical perspective reflected in the subsequent response. The discussion reflects a mix of humor and critique regarding American food practices.
