Date: October 14th, 2025 8:13 PM Author: ,..,,,,,,....,,,..., Paying kids is mostly about getting some earned income so they can open a Roth IRA and enjoy 60 years of compounded tax-free gains. It’s a solid upper-middle class move. Few thousand per year adds up with that much compounding.
If very rich you can make up a more advanced fake job and it could be worth the rate differential between max fed and kid filling up the lower brackets - but not really that exciting with SS/Med/state taxes. |
