Or it's a fake discount because they're selling the same products but watered down (ie worse or bottom tier specs) that no one would ever buy from a big box retailer |

we buy probably 200+ high end macs a year
via apple business and .edu pricing is probably cheaper than we pay
also for op, buy pros, not airs. shit like lower quality keyboards, passive cooling, and lack of multi-monitor support will limit the value of the air if they're in a stem major
