On the supply side, it's usually one Hispanic dude with beaner connections who provides the capital for the set-up, which is almost nothing since it's a tent, a propane trompo, and some tables, then hires illegals below minimum wage to run it. At the end of the night they'll dismantle the operation, the owner will drive by with a truck and they'll do it again the next day. In fact the business model appears to be so viable that local chains are now popping (look up Angel's Tacos)
On the demand side, these guys charge slightly lower prices than brick and mortar to ice them out, and in Biden's America people line up for it because it's $2 per taco instead of $3 or whatever. When Brick & Mortar tries to compete with them it doesn't work because when they cut prices quality and experience inevitably suffers since they need to pay $20/hour for the worker and $5000+ per month for the lease.
It's total insanity. And beaners get extremely worked up if you dare question it EVEN IF THEY WERE BORN AND RAISED HERE because they all have family or friends here without papers. |
