Down for drinks if Evan can get away from whatever deal he’s leading. Current plan is:

Thur: prob jetlagged AF

Fri: Space Needle, Boeing, Pike Place, dinner my buddy organized + out

Sat: Bucks v. Wash + out

Sun: Mariners v Dodgers + TBD

Reasonable?

To each their own. I hate live sporting events and stadiums generally. Would much rather find the best hike with the lowest likelihood of running into a single person all day.

Edit to add: Maybe something on a boat? Cruising the Peugeot would be chill and offer good drinking with the bros while being outdoors.

i didnt suggest it and i dont really give a shit, but your schedule is entirely self-created and imposed, so it's silly that you dont have time for anything. you have no family, no job, no responsibilities, you have all the time in the world but i do recognize that playing a game 3 times a week is a lot

I don’t have WORK but the schedule is planned far out with a lot of moving pieces and it’s constructed to in order to get to all the things I have to/want to do. Like i’d have stayed longer at Oktoberfest longer, was having a great time but needed to get here for this game because I said i’d be here and i’m not gonna noshow on my friends. Even if it’s just social events, still gonna show up to them. It’s subject to change to a degree but I plan this shit out months in advance. I had to tweak Aug ‘26 recently for a friend’s wedding but other than ~6 weeks of flex time in Apr/May i’m planned through Sept ‘26.

Museum of Flight is probably the best thing the city has to offer. I hope you skipped the emp at the space needle. Although Seattle center campus is one of the few areas in the city free from homeless people. I don't know of a single high end restaurant I'd recommend. A few hole in the wall places but the met is fine.

Boating up to a husky game is a pretty cool experience if you know someone. Weather should be nice. Hope you lose!

Yeah Seattle didn’t have a lot of worthy high end dining at its peak, and the SF invasion has really shittified that even further.

I similarly can’t think of a high end place I’d recommend. The bar at Canlis is great but Canlis proper is too inconsistent for its price point. Seattle is about eating great quality seafood and drinking very good wine and beer. That doesn’t need to be in a fine dining space.

Yeah the best meal you're going to get in Seattle, or at least the prototypical one, is probably out of someone's backyard. Seafood is amazing here but outside of that the pnw is pretty limited.

Pulling up crab traps full of dungeness and sacks full of oysters is god tier living

The summer produce is outstanding too. The restaurants in Seattle are doing faggy shit to impress tech bros and gooks. They need to take those awesome ingredients and get out of their way.

Museum of flight was 8796438632987, they have the first 747 and a bunch of other Soo CR exhibits and a pretty good WW1 and WW2 breakdown. Made it to the Mariners game after then got roped into a bar crawl. Overall, aside from getting into an argument with some shitlibs at a bar on Sat eve Seattle didn't feel overly shitty and lib. My friend said they killed most of the homeless, so less meth zombies on the streets. I didn't hate it. BUCKS win didn't hurt.

Adios Seattle! Taking the train to Vancouver. Sad Evan didn’t meet up for a beverage or six.
