I say that up front because it is true and I realize that I am to blame for everything that has happened to me. I also say it because I have done a piss poor job managing my health and more precisely the stress I feel from my life and job. But that being said, the exercise was a 3 mile walk and then a 2 mile walk on Tuesday, and then it was just trying to get my lawn mowed. I’ll be laid up probably for a week or more. My foot literally feels on fire. And it’s actually moving up my foot, so now it’s in my ankle if I apply any pressure. It’s a malignancy that started in my toe and the fires are slowly creeping up my leg, like Sherman’s march on Buckhead. |

Top of my left foot and on the inside of my foot. It feels like a mix between burning and someone crushing the bones inside my foot. You know like when you were a kid and your friend would “shake” your hand and squeeze as hard as he possibly could and try to squeeze the bones together? It’s like that. If I try to get up to go to the bathroom the pain becomes intense and drives me to tears and it shoots up into my ankle when I try to bear weight on my left leg. |

She told me my inflammatory markers were very high. She said my thyroid markers were extremely low. A quick google search indicates that hypothyroidism and depression/anxiety are commonly correlated, so it makes me wonder. She also confirmed that I have metabolic dysfunction and said that I was prediabetic. |
