My husband and I took the train from MD to NYC to watch the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child show on Broadway for the day. We splurged on the Lyric Lounge, so we got complimentary drinks, chocolate wands, private bathrooms (this alone was worth it not to stand in line to share 12 stalls with 300 people during a 15 min intermission), charcuterie board and just a lovely place to sit and chill before the show and during intermission. We also got to pre-order our drinks for intermission (which were waiting for us) and we were able to have snacks available within the lounge.

We ate spicy Vodka pizza from Upside and cannolis from Angelina. Walked a closed 8th St full of vendors and ate more street food. Overall, it was a great little day trip.

Lawd. All this free time and expendable money, what a sad and unfulfilled life we live. 😆
