With that said I have noticed that today's weed is quite addictive and makes me lazier even when I'm not stoned.

I've started to cut back significantly on the weed and have noticed increased motivation but it did wonders for me in terms of getting off alcohol...

I used to just white knuckle it through 3 days of sobriety so I could drink 6-8 beers a night for the next 4 nights without my wife labeling me an alcoholic. Weed essentially removed those cravings completely and mellowed me out significantly.
