No matter your politics, these new numbers are shocking. Of the 7 million migrants that ICE released while their cases are being processed, 663,000 have criminal histories, 13,000 were convicted of homicide, 16,000 of sexual assault, and 1,845 face homicide charges.

2) your cato link says: "The homicide conviction rate for illegal immigrants was 2.4 per 100,000 illegal immigrants in 2015, which is lower than the homicide conviction rate of 2.8 per 100,000 for native-born Americans."
3) 13k per 7 million is a murder rate of 185.7 per 100,000. even if we go with your 11 million figure, that'd still be 118 per 100,000. see the issue? |
