If there is a tax treaty you pay extra tax only if their rate is higher. It's also possible that the next president in usa will make dividend tax 40%. Then even Spain and France will be cheaper. this is such retarded shit, they basically make it that even if u make 25k in div/interst income as a single mo u owe some taxes cause the single exemption is like 14.6k and u owe 10% on the first 11 something
this is furking retarded, they shld really just excempt the first 50k in income regardless of source |

Anyway countries on Mediterranean that have 15% or less(so I don't pay extra tax if I pay to usa): turkey, Greece, albania, montenegro |

Those countries are completely off-limits for permanent residency. Greece doesn't have any of that. They could only get you on ordinary income , i.e. social security, bank interest, but that's negligible. Negative about Greece they don't have Healthcare.
