Obama initiated a DEI program for ATCs and they used a "Biographical Questionnaire" to reject many hundreds if not thousands of white applicants and to begin hiring of non-whites. A class action about that is going to trial soon.
the DM article has an actual audio recording of a public union employee telling minority applicants to not take the BQ until he has instructed them on the cheat code.
the use of the BQ was stopped after a few years. it was reproted in the middle of last year that we were still about 3000 hires short for the ATC position. and we still have an embarrassingly old fashioned ATC system as compared to modern nations. |
