Date: April 20th, 2025 6:45 PM Author: Traditional Latin ass Wife took the kids to church this morning, I said I'd run to Costcos and get a few things for Easter dinner. They had Cadbury creme eggs. I bought a box that had 48, thinking I'd have 1 or 2 and we could give the rest to guests.
I got a bit carried away and ate 8 on the drive home. Felt guilty and began to enter what my therapist calls a "shame spiral" and pulled over in a local park and started devouring them all to hide the evidence of my binging. I got super thirsty so I went to Bucees and got a couple Dr Peppers to wash them down. By the end of it I could tell I had dangerously spiked my blood sugar as my vision was blurry and I couldn't feel my feet. I managed to drive to the hospital and they put me on insulin and are checking my blood for some heart attack markers. My heart rate is 155. My wife has been calling nonstop asking where I am and I'm too ashamed to pick up. I missed Easter Dinner and I know I've let my family down again. |
