It was a terrible name in the 90s even BEFORE internet search engines and it's way worse now. Also the singer is Bald. Discuss. |

Jimmy Page then took the insult and ran with it. It is spelled "Led" because they did not want people to pronounce it Leed Zeppelin.
Jimmy Page was in the Yardbirds but they broke up mid-tour and he had to get a band together to complete the tour. Plant was an unknown. JPJ was a well-known and well-repsected studio musician. |
