I was never a big alcohol guy but it's hard to say no to a 7.8/10 syrah for a paltry 5.99

This is truly a golden age for cheap yet quality wines and wireless internet devices

Alcohol in a general sense is much more expensive than it was 7-8 years ago but wine has gotten much cheaper, even legacy brands. Champagne not wine but a bottle of Veuve is down to 45$ in my prefecture (from the high 50s)

Tito's from 24ish to 29 but many mass market beers are down

A weird scattershot of goods is cheaper than they were. I think a lot of grains are way down. Pork is also cheaper than it was ~5 years ago

Some are substantially more expensive

No I go to a package store which is a Connecticut thing and there’s a veritable cornucopia of red wines to choose from with nifty labels and clever names and shit like that.
