I was out Doordashing and the customer ordered to the wrong address so now it's mine.
I don't have a receipt but there's got to be close to $100 worth of Taco Bell here. Lots of heavily customized items

I'm trying to eat all the stuff that isn't going to keep well but I'm failing.
I just inhaled three Crunchwrap Supremes and a crunchy taco with chicken and two orders of their chips and cheese.
Unfortunately there's another Crunchwrap here that I can't handle right now and it's obviously gonna be pretty damn soggy tomorrow. There's also like 4 burritos and 4 soft tacos but those should keep a little better than the Crunchwrap.

This was 100% on the customer.
Sucks for Doordash, pretty sure they're going to refund the customer anyway even though it was the retarded customer ordering to the wrong city.
It's no wonder Doordash costs so fucking much yet their financials are mediocre

Yeah, there are efficiencies that emerge. Pickup from two places close by and then deliver to roughly the same neighborhood. Having your next pickup be close to your last dropoff. Etc.
But lots of stuff on the wasteful side of the ledger.
I feel like I'm doing a service though. It probably helps keep drunks off the road.
Sometimes I deliver alcohol to people. I'm supposed to assess whether they are drunk or not, and not deliver it to them if they are drunk. That seems retarded. If they are drunk and they want more alcohol, wouldn't it be better for them to get it delivered? The alternative is often going to be them hopping in a car and driving their drunk ass to a bar or liquor store. I can't envision a scenario where someone orders alcohol and I don't deliver it due to them being too drunk.

You're sort of on to something - it's certainly less sedentary than jockeying a desk. Lots of climbing in and out of my car, more walking than you might expect. It falls well short of a workout though.
It is kind of neat to see more of the city, yeah. A lot if it is after dark though so not a lot to see. I'm on the edge of a metro area so I do see some wildlife.
I gross around $20 an hour. But I gotta pay for my gas and vehicle expenses, and taxes are ostensibly higher than a W2 gig because I'm self-employed and thus have to pay SE tax. I say "ostensibly" because the net income for tax purposes is a lot lower than what I'm actually netting. This is because I'm putting on a ton of business miles, and the standard mileage rate of 70 cents a mile is way higher than what it actually costs me to drive my car.
It's not a bad side gig all things considered. Virtually zero stress, cruise around, listen to music.

I'm a little jealous. I used to love getting TBell after a night of drinking.
I've cut way back on my drinking, and therefore cut way back on TBell too.
