It is the first car I've had where it is simply "fast enough" meaning that I couldn't take advantage of more power even if it had it. At over 1000hp that isn't surprising. I keep it in Plaid mode but have never used the track mode thing that makes it even faster. The only things as fast as you are similar Teslas and hypercars. You're quicker than your BMW M cars and Mercedes AMGs for example. The doors seemed like a gimmick but we have a toddler and getting her into her car seat is much, much easier than a regular car door. Basically, you get the advantage of a minivan door but without having to drive a minivan. We have the 6 seat config and that is very practical. We can fit us, the baby, the au pair, and our huge dog plus some stuff. And of course it drives itself. Dog mode is a gamechanger for those of us that frequently bring dogs everywhere. Not sure why others haven't implemented it. We haven't had any real issues with reliability.
The only bad things are 1. the self-driving is good but is really not perfect. The nanny controls are also annoying. 2. A few things aren't perfect. For example, the windshield washer fluid nozzles are integrated into the wipers which is meh. No leather seats, though the artificial leather is nice for what it is. No HUD, though unlike the cheaper Tesla you have a screen right in front of the steering wheel. 3. Potential things like lack of repairability in a collision.
Overall, I suspect that we'll replace it with the same thing. The cybertruck is actually pretty cool (we've got a bunch in our neighborhood) but it is HUGE and I'm not sure we have the space to deal with it. We could park it but then maneuvering outside on our small beach road would absolutely suck.
