A kidney transplant specialist and professor at Brown University’s medical school has been deported from the United States, even though she had a valid visa and a court order temporarily blocking her expulsion, according to her lawyer and court papers.
Dr. Rasha Alawieh, 34, is a Lebanese citizen who had traveled to her home country last month to visit relatives. She was detained on Thursday when she returned from that trip to the United States, according to a court complaint filed by her cousin Yara Chehab.
Judge Leo T. Sorokin of the Federal District Court in Massachusetts ordered the government on Friday evening to provide the court with 48 hours’ notice before deporting Dr. Alawieh. But she was put on a flight to Paris, presumably on her way to Lebanon.

Seems totally above board and normal. Waiting for TBF to tell us why this is completely OK and why Jews are losing.

why does this article say "to visit family" instead of "to attend the funeral of slain hezbollah leader nasrallah, to whom she pledged religious allegiance"

Thank you for informing me that Nasrallah was the leader of Hezbollah, in response to my poast that referred to "slain Hezbollah leader nasrallah".
how does 100k shia extremists supporting a terror cell / paramilitary change anything? ISIS ran the power plants and had supporters in their territory too. as you know, nasrallahs militant wing isn't even the same group as the political party.

Ok, the lady who told border patrol that she went to the funeral because she has a "religious" devotion to Nasrallah, who likely plotted a US embassy bombing, is just a regular old secular village dweller from southern Lebanon. This will go great in the campaign ads next election season.
You're full of shit though, hizb is not and has never been the de facto govt of lebanon. When exactly was that the case.

Can’t speak to its condition now but under Nasrallah it always had the ability to take the country by force but it was never in its interests to do so.
Regarding the religious devotion stuff that seems a bit far fetched and is obviously what the administration claims. I don’t know if I believe it. Same thing with the deleted images supposedly showing her devotion to these groups, yeah I guess it’s possible but I don’t think we have any reason to believe that’s not a partial truth. For example I get a ton of images in various WhatsApp groups that automatically save into my photos, that I then delete.

so they aren't and never were the de facto govt, which is what you stated twice in order to prove that you know more about lebanon than me?

"De facto" is a Latin phrase meaning "in fact" or "in reality," used to describe something that exists in practice, even if it's not officially recognized or authorized.
Hezbollah holds considerable influence in Lebanese politics, with representation in the national parliament and involvement in various social services.

Though influential in Lebanon, the group does not directly control the country.
"Hezbollah does not rule Lebanon but it controls the levers of power in the country," said Lina Khatib, director of the SOAS Middle East Institute and associate fellow of the Middle East and North Africa program at Chatham House, an international affairs think tank in the U.K.
"Hezbollah has infiltrated decision-making positions and processes within state institutions, like ministries and the security services and, combined with its allies, has a de facto veto in the cabinet," she added.
Hezbollah is heavily armed, with weaponry provided by Iran, and has a vast military infrastructure. The group's fighters have been involved in conflicts beyond Lebanon's borders, including in supporting the Assad regime during the Syrian Civil War.

Hezbollah also operates an extensive social development program that includes hospitals, news services, and educational facilities. Through its Jihad Al Binna's Reconstruction Campaign, Hezbollah has undertaken numerous economic and infrastructure development projects in Lebanon.
Hezbollah's militant activities have led to its designation as a terrorist organization by several countries, including the U.S. and the Saudi Arabia.
"Hezbollah can drag Lebanon into war without needing prior permission from the Lebanese authorities," Khatib said. "The Lebanese government frequently finds itself having to catch up with Hezbollah to contain the risk caused by the group's actions or its leader Hassan Nasrallah's statements."
As geopolitical tensions and military conflicts persist in the Middle East, so too will the influence of Hezbollah.
"Hezbollah will remain influential for as long as the regional factors feeding its raison d'être continue, and these are the Israel-Palestine conflict and Iran's interference in the Middle East," said Khatib.
Controls levers of power, has a de facto veto in the cabinet, provides social services, can unilaterally drag Lebanon into war. Are you retarded?

"His funeral was attended by approximately 100,000 people.
" So it sounds like reptiles were correct the whole time, it really is most of them that are terrorists. You know what, she can just live under Hezbollah rule.

need some immigration MASTERMINDS in here
seems like she was DENIED ADMISSION to US, so wasn't really deported because she was never actually here in the first instance
following that logic makes sense to ignore court order, since you can't appeal the border guard's decision to article iii court or whatever.
