what would you even buy
the only good pre-IPOs I can think of are Stripe and OpenAI, and they're probably oversubscribed

When buying public stocks, the guy selling definitely has more information than me and is probably selling for a reason that I have no idea about. That’s why The only way to “win” in this scenario is to hold the stock long term and buy a bunch of them of different companies.
This reality is multiplied about a hundred times when Buying pre-I.P.O. shares.
