The hardware is not innovative (major fail from nintendo, amazing they havent learned they're at their best when trying to do something different, not just the same but more power) so the only thing drawing me to the system is the exclusives. And so far, the exclusives are very weak. I still can't believe they thought a Donkey Kong game would be best for launch.

Imho their main blunder was taking 6 years to release a Zelda game with the Same Map and weirdly similar story, and having it be a Switch 1 game. They may as well have made it properly next gen graphically, made better Dungeons, and taken 8 years for the Switch 2 release. TotK, perhaps minus the fusing, should’ve been a 2020 release imo.

Also, it's not like a brand new Mario is "the same thing" as a previous Mario game.
