I will be the first to admit that from personal experience and anecdotes I find most of them detestable. But I don't know EVERY spoiled rich kid on the planet. Surely, at least one of them must be doing some good in the world. What are your thoughts XO? Where are we on this?

Better question is why you care if they’re doing good in the world? What good are you doing in the world? Do you not think a huge % of people “maeking it” are actively making the world a worse place in the process? Your views seem very clearly to be based in resentment. You said you grew up with some rich kids but were not yourself rich, it seems this anger that you didn’t get what you think you deserved instead of them is what drives your current views.

I was always either the richest kid in the poorest neighborhood or the poorest kid in the richest neighborhood. However you want to look at it. I've always identified with Don Quixote. The lowest level of nobility. An aristocrat whose lands do not generate enough income to retire on.

I don't think I deserve more. I just believe the working class is due a lot more opportunity. And yes when you haven't got any money striving to maek it and support your family is inherently noble imo. Not making the world a worse place as long as you're not doing fraud.

I detest the ones who act as if nepotism/wealth didn't give them a huge advantage in life, otherwise I don't care.

I would say entitlement and desperation for people to acknowledge their tangible real world accomplishments is a common theme. BUT I don't want to rule out that there are some down to Earth nepos I don't know about yet.

It's probably better if you get the download in your 30s. Probably a good thing to have to row the boat for a while. If you get the bag young it'll mess you up more. I think you just freeze at whatever age you're at.

they say that happens with fame too. Tommy Lee was famous at 20 so fifty years later he still acts like a frat boy rock star. lots of other examples.

winning lottery at 35 is probably the CR.

I think I would have become a complete psychopath if I inherited RSF money. I would have at least been as bad but possibly worse. Striving made me a better person imo.

I've never met a nepo who became a super striver but I'm sure they're out there. I just haven't met one. Cool they're out there rowing the boat even though they didn't have to.
