i guess.

Then they all gathered around one of the kids phone to watch a 'Lets Play' video of one of the Gamer Dads, and were pretty impressed, by the sounds of it. Then one of the kids said, "Lets go to (kid whos Dad is a Top Level Gamer Dad) house and watch his dad play (insert game) he got yesterday, he's on level 263 already", at which point they all put their e-bikes into warp drive, and sailed past a small group of cute girls from their school without even waving hello. The girls responded by taking out their phones and called them weird names and recorded it all on their phones. Then the girls started dancing on the sidewalk and recorded all of that on their phones, multiple phones.

Something I appreciate about my dad even more the older I get is that, even though he was born a Boomer Prep who would never have an interest in nerdy pursuits of any kind (skiing, surfing, casual stock market discussion are his 3 lifelong passions),

nevertheless he always bought me and my sisters whatever we asked for and never made fun of anyone, outside of the periodic earnest "you guys should go outside for a little bit" if we'd been playing Mario Kart 64 all afternoon circa 1999

My dad was more of a Loser or Scum probably and he was always outdoors messing around with stuff or just drinking like 12 Buds Heavy and doing Lord knows what indoors because he didn't watch sports or have any hobbies. But he did buy me an NES and encouraged me to get off it all the time too.

180

>he was always outdoors messing around with stuff

I know the grass is always greener but I kind of wish I'd gotten a little bit more of that, because even though I've always had money to pay for whatever I've definitely felt like a generally helpless gay and/or retarded modern man in many if not all cases (you probably would have never guessed from my poasting haha)

>because he didn't watch sports or have any hobbies

Don't out me bro
