While sitting in a zoom depo for one case I was telling it to write motions and stuff for two other cases and it did all of it in the background without needing my attention. It had a thorough explanation and motions, orders, affidavits, and all the correct statutes cited and everything. Could Grok be the best law AI out there?

Nope. Each grok server is manned by a “scholarly noble” (in other words a top notch law scholar) who immediately spits out the correct legal conclusion based on memory.

I was googling around and stumbled upon a reddit group of lawyers who freak out over AI and scold anyone who mentions it. They were comically aggressive about it. Hopefully there are millions of lawyers like this because Grok and I are going to kick their stupid asses lol

I've been using it (and before that ChatGPT) for law shit ~50+ times per day for 2+ years.

Great for some things. Terrible for others.

The real weakpoint, for Grok premium specifically, is not being able to read multiple long documents for upload. For example, if you try to upload all of the documents for a complex transaction it can't process all of them to give you answers.

That said, I can use NotebookLLM for this.

Sometimes use Claud and Gemini if I don't like what I'm getting from Grok.

Once my Grok Premium account is about to expire I'm going to cancel it and try ChatGPT for a month to see if I like that better now that they've updated it.

I don't even feel like that's an exaggeration. Like they're just smarter than a person. Better at doing pretty much any digital task than a person and way faster too

I asked Grok about the judicial philosophy of a judge on my state's Supreme Court. Grok insisted he was on the Court of Appeals, not the Supreme Court, even though he's been a Supreme Court justice for like 7 years and is listed on the court website as such.

So it is at best hit or miss.

It seems like you might be referring to "height" in a playful or metaphorical sense, possibly as a typo or a meme-related reference, given the earlier question about "supreme nougat." However, based on the information available, there's no direct connection between "height" and nougat, supreme or otherwise. Let me break it down:

- **Height as a concept**: Height refers to physical elevation or stature. It doesn't relate to nougat, a confection made of sugar, nuts, and egg whites, unless you're referring to a nougat's physical height (e.g., a tall nougat bar), which seems unlikely.

- **Supreme Nougat**: As discussed previously, "supreme nougat" likely refers to high-quality nougat, like artisanal torrone or Montélimar nougat, with premium ingredients. No sources mention "height" as a factor in nougat quality.

- **Possible misinterpretation**: If you meant "Hype" (as in hype culture, like Supreme brand hype) instead of "height," there’s still no clear link to nougat. Supreme, the streetwear brand, doesn't produce nougat, though their branding could inspire a novelty product name. Alternatively, if this is a meme or slang from X or elsewhere, I’d need more context to pin it down.

To clarify, are you:

- Referring to a specific nougat product or brand with "height" in the name?

- Making a joke or meme reference (e.g., nougat being "high" in quality)?

- Asking about something else, like a recipe or cultural term?

If you can provide more details, I can dig deeper, check X for relevant posts, or analyze related content. For now, **height is not the supreme nougat**—but I’m happy to explore what you mean!

I've never really used the online ones. They all require me to register with a phone/email if I want to do serious business. I once asked an online LLM to watch a Youtube video and give me a synopsis, and it was harrible so I gave up.

Gemma may suck at other things (IDK), but for legal writing it destroys all the other offline LLMs. It's as if it was purpose-built.
