the accelerationist pitch is that this "well, we can vote again for a different republican in four years" is just some kind of medically managed death.
basically, accelerationism is a targeted implosion of the GOP and the thinking that so long as this party commands 40-50% support, this untenable status quo continues
i have too much stake in the present to go along with it -- actual children who live in the US -- but I can follow the emotional logic
