you'd need flesh-colored bolts, more or less. the thing is, you'd need to wear them on both fists, so that the deformation caused by the extra material would appear as some kind of generalized arthritic condition rather than a weapon.

connected segments aren't going to work, since they are way too obvious to AI scanners. i'm trying to think in terms of technological systems designed to detect or prevent this behavior.
metal detection can be defeated by very dense ceramics, for example. many systems will flag gloves, so, we can't rely on those. we need something which can morphologize into established human hand shapes. and that's not so easy, but it can be done, i think.
