I predict the shooter is Valentin after Gaitok rats him out and he tries to flee with his boys.
Gaitok gets shot but lives and his bravery gives him the confidence to kiss Mook.
Rick ends up being the hero who takes down the shooter. The story with his dad’s killer (Dad?) isn’t fully resolved on screen.
One of the good Ratliff kids get shot (maybe Saxon also for laffs) and the dad realizes family is all that matters and goes home to face the music.
Laurie and Kate pick on Jaclyn for sleeping with a murderer. It’s clear that their close friendship is over.
Greg/Gary dies in the cross fire and we’re left with no idea where the money will go, but not to Belinda.
Belinda and her son are fine and Belinda continues searching for some semblance of control over her life.
Chelsea’s bad things happen in threes are finally done and a relaxed Rick commits to being happy with her. They live happily ever after.

Parker Posey is a TRIUMPH!
Can’t believe the dad tried to Heavens Gate his family, but was like, I’ll leave one to tell my tale.

I thought the episode was pretty well done - its a testament to old school writing that Netflix is spending $300 million on movies that no one watches, yet millions of people here are riveted by close ups of a blender.
I also thought Carrie Coon's speech to the girls was really poignant and true. Everyone will talk about Sam Rockwell's speech, but Coon's speech is more meaningful to life (other than for the numerous xoxo'ers who tried to be lady boys).
That said, this episode was a little too dark for me and what I want from the show. I was happy Lochy lived, but i just don't need to watch 30 minutes of a Dad almost accidentally killing his innocent kid.
Also, i don't think the "i am your father stuff works." It's convenient writing, but why would the Dad go back to the island, insult his kid's mom, then show him a gun, and walk away? It's a set of actions that is convenient for the plot, but makes no sense.

The State of the fandom has never been worse. The White Lotus fandom has become a kind of half-lit room filled with people whispering passwords that mean nothing. Once it was alive with quiet tension, the way old hotel lobbies feel at midnight, when something unspoken hangs in the velvet air. You could talk about Lucia like she was a ghost pulled from Calvino, or debate whether Tanya was comedy or elegy. Now it’s all keys and gates, and too many people standing outside pretending they know what’s inside. But worse; too many inside pretending they built the place. Gatekeeping is the last refuge of the frightened. A performance of ownership by people who never made anything. They guard the show like it’s their inheritance, like they wrote the scripts or bled on the marble floors. They act like resonance should be earned like only those who know the “right” allusions can speak. As if the whole point of a story wasn’t to haunt everyone who finds it, whether they came through Freud or TikTok. It makes you wonder if they ever really watched the show. Because if they had, they’d know The White Lotus is about masks. About tourists playing roles in places they’ll never understand. About how no one ever really belongs anywhere and that’s where the tragedy comes from. The show is porous. It leaks into different people in different ways. To say who gets to “get it” is to miss the whole goddamn point imho. You don’t need a degree in semiotics to feel the dread in a dinner scene. You don’t need to quote Nietzsche to know when a man has lost his soul on vacation. All you need is a pulse, a bit of silence, and the ability to sit still in the presence of something beautiful and brutal.

I don’t feel good about the current State of the fandom with so much gatekeeping itt. Just because HBO is a paid channel doesn’t mean that someone that disagrees with you is anti-intellectual.

That was baffling. Also, his dad didn’t think to rinse out the poison pina colada remnants? I don’t care how rich and coddled you are you’re not leaving a gross blender out overnight unless you’re hammered.
