some people do from pesach to lag b'omer.
others do from rosh chodesh iyar all the way until 3 days before shavuot.
you don't have to do the whole omer |

btw today and tomorrow are both Rosh chodesh. its a 2 day rosh chodesh bc the previous month was 30 days.
when the month has 30 days, the 30th day and the 1st day of the new month are both rosh chodesh |
