There would be a decent chance you'd land on the side of a mountain in the Rockies, so no. I'd consider it for $5m, however.

Yes. In this hypothetical, you are ensconced within a COVINT pod. The COVINT pod will insert tubes into your penis, anus, nose, throat, and brain in a minimally invasive way. The tubes provide you with vitalizing fluids and stimulation. The pod's surface is embedded with sensors and its skin is composed of molecular-scale machinery which enables it to dynamically modulate its composition in response to environmental and external threats to defend and protect you. While you are defended and protected, the tubes of course remain inside your penis, anus, nose, throat, and brain. The pod provides you with essentially all your physical, mental, and spiritual needs. In order to active all these functions, you simply need to say to the pod "will do."

Can I also keep my phone (iPhone 14 with sat phone capability) with me to call for help after I land? I once read an article from an experience pilot that said that if a plane experienced explosive decompression at high altitude, the passengers might pass out briefly, but most likely they would remain conscious until they hit the ground assuming they survived the initial explosion. If that dude is correct (and I'd need to do some research to verify it), the big danger wouldn't be surviving the fall. It would be landing somewhere in the Nevada desert where you die of dehydration before anyone finds you.
Assuming I am satisfied that I will not die during the descent, I keep my phone charged to full and keep as much water with me as possible. Then I send a 911 distress beacon via sat phone with my location when I land. Dehydration is realistically the only thing that might kill me before a rescuer got to me. (Well, that's assuming that I can choose to do this during the summer. It gets a little more interesting if it's January. But even then some warm clothing and thermal underwear should keep me alive for at least a couple days.)
If I'm not allowed to call for help after landing, then absolutely not. If I land anywhere west of the Mississippi, I'm most likely in a sparsely populated area far away from civilization. Most likely I die of dehydration or exposure before I make it to safety. In general, for this hypo, I think people should be less worried about surviving the fall and more worried about surviving after you land. Eastcoastmos don't seem to comprehend that most of the U.S. is empty and not very hospitable.
