Kamala needed to ride the fence and I knew it would be a major problem for her. She couldn't be seen as totally pro-Israel (and also cozy with the Cheneys) and expect pro-Palestinians to vote for her. She also couldn't be totally pro-Palestinian and not be called a radical or lose support from Jews (and Jewish donors, media companies, think tanks, corporations, hollywood, boomers who think they're our greatest ally, etc.) |
