it's jarring. there is this weird manic, ADD undercurrent to all human interaction now, and if you are not acculturated and habituated to it at the micro-interactional level, you will feel that either you or everyone else has gone mad when you engage them.
so the choice, anymore, is between 'unplugging' and being adequately socialized. |
