Choose the dark side and it’ll eat away at your life force like Clinton. Choose the Light Side and you could be like Carter, maybe 80 something good years Like yeah you could retire early and that sucks, try to get a chill job that doesn’t exist, or try to make $ in a sinecure but I think actual hard work is bad for you imho. One reason it is necessary is because you will start to understand that you can only push yourself so much before things start to go off the rails. I think this is an important lesson. Others will literally push you to your death if it means they can make more money out of the deal. They will pretend like they are your friends, but they're just using you for leverage to earn more. They will use language and try to blame you and say it's all your fault to "motivate" you to be even more profitable. But if you cannot do anymore without getting sick then you need to be able to say, "hey pal, this is where my limit is." My net worth was up 33.64% over the last 12 months. None of that had anything to do with my job. My job is important, work is important, but killing myself for my job just seems foolish.
