After a rigorous 18-month study, it was concluded that supplying fire hoses with ocean water would present an immediate as well as long-term threat to the delicate ecological balance found along the California coastline.
Mx. Shaneesha Jackson, chairperson of the panel that conducted the study, reported that diversity and particularly equity would be damaged by such a plan.
"Rather than placing these hoses into the ocean, we instead propose placing them up gay men's asses," Jackson said. "It will be cheaper and a lot more fun," they added.
