Both the re-tweeter and original tweeter seem to be private analysts. Doesn't make it correct, but I can't dismiss it outright, like I would if it was Trump admin spin.

Iran thought negotiations were making progress so stopped shooting at things for a bit. Then Trump opened his stupid mouth again and they have since again blasted another two dozen ships and resumed the closure. Nothing is open AGAIN. Trump is a clown.

This is the key paragraph of the article, imo - the "solution" to the blockade is one which costs 30 bucks a barrel to implement:
As importantly, ADNOC has overcapacity for the trade. That means it can provide the Shuttle service for Iraq too, of course at a nice fee. How much? At this point, it costs about $212 per metric tonne, or roughly $28-30/bbl depending on the grade, to ship crude out of the Persian trap.
- end quote -
So they do seem to have a "solution" for now at the $100/barrel range, which I suppose is better than $150/barrel, but still very far from normal prices.

his headline is that Iran Has Lost Control of the Straight
but then posts a chart showing that, at least at one snapshot time, they are able to bypass the Straight which continues to be operating well below normal levels
there are also a lot of claims that what is moving is moving on Russian and Chinese ships, though not sure how solid these are
