For several years, it was common political wisdom that George W. Bush was 'misunderestimated' as a rube or charlatan by arrogant political pundits, who failed to realize that Bush was actually a very adept and gifted leader.
Is this still the line you accept, or have you come around to the idea that GWB won on the strength of his daddy's name and Karl Rove's careful manipulation of his image? Do you admit that GWB is pretty much a 'Potemkin Village' who sucks at the actual administration of America's affairs?

i'm curious whether or not now that bush is admitting that we need a change of course in iraq, all the fucktards who kept insisting he was right before and that we need to stay the course all of a sudden have changed their minds too. if so they clearly are blind fucking followers. if not they are clearly even more retarded than first indicated.

I think their position is that the treasonous Dems and media worked very hard from the beginning to turn things bad in Iraq, and now GWB has to deal with loads and loads of their treachery at every step.

That raises the question - BUT FOR Iraq, would GWB have been able to skate by on the strength of the economy, and the mixed success of Afghanistan? He wouldn't have been as fondly-regarded as Clinton, but he would have been much better-off.
