The EV split is better for GOP than 2020 and EV is down substantially. Even if the GOP's ED advantage is less than before, seems like Dems have not built up their chip stack. This is what Halperin is saying. You don't have an insurmountable lead anymore going into ED. And even if it's not as big you're still not winning ED outright.
In your scenario GOP is still winning a tight race, but if ED overperforms it's a GOP blowout. And there's still no D win scenario in NC. Enjoy the fruits of low enthusiasm and low turnout just like 2016. |
