No one with an iq over 110 believes that depression is a "medical illness" or that it can be treated by "SSRIs" but everyone involved knowingly sold and pushed ineffective treatments in order to create lifelong customers rather than curing any verifiable "illness". Medical Malpractice and Negligence - They failed to provide informed consent about potential side effects and lifelong disruption of biological systems like permanent sexual dysfunction and brain damage. Pharmaceutical companies engaged in deceptive trade practices by withholding data that showed their drugs to be flame, and ghostwriting fake studies and manipulating data. They misled insurance companies and governments into covering drugs they knew were snake oil.
