For most actors involved, it isn't worth the individual risk to try to steal this election with a coup. So I always catch myself wondering what motivates these guys. Possibilities:

1) Marxist ideology? This one makes some since as ideologues will do irrational things in pursuit of their ideology. I think some of these guys (Brennan) truly hate America and our way of living and want to ruin it.

2) Brainwashing? I think a lot of the low level coup actors (media types) actually believe their own propaganda that Trump is Hitler and they think they are saving America.

3) Money? This one doesn't make the most sense to me. Trump is putting tons of money into the military, and these guys are already loaded. It doesn't make since for them to take this risk.

4) Power? This one makes some sense to me. The Deep State are in power and they feel threatened by Trump refusing to play their games.

5) Forces of Satan? Possible, but I haven't fully developed my thoughts here.

Actually I think the real motivation behind the Deep State color revolution is partisanship. If you recall the Revolver article about the color revolution against Trump, the mastermind behind the color revolution is a big time Democrat with expertise in State Dept. work. I think the desire to cripple Trump and consolidate democrat power is the real motivation behind the higher levels of the deep state, but then you have your various useful idiots like Comey.

general rule: no one believes they are the bad guy. they think they're the good guys.

so the deep state thinks they are helping save the world from the next hitler. in reality, they are the lapdogs of satan and don't know it.

Also they are most part of organizations (alphabet agencies) whose first goal is to seek to increase their budgets and influence.

very cr. i remember early in my career working in public education and learning that basically the one discipline worthy thing you could beyond the obvious sexual harassment stuff was to not use all of your budget even if it meant buying useless shit. silly me...i thought saving taxpayer money was a good thing. no...got me a bad review.

It's not worth the effort to stage a revolution to keep a boring job you would keep anyway.
