Classic planned obsolescence. Way more likely for the drawer opening and shutting to break. Plus it’s slow as fuck to open and close this shit every time you want to flip food over or check the temperature

We have some $1800 Bosch drawer microwave and the shitty $99 black and decker one we use for dairy is more convenient and easier to use and will probably last longer.

i hate them but i do like them being below the counter rather than taking more valuable cabinet space or counter space

why is upper cabinet space more valuable than lower cabinet space? obv counter space is retarded for a microwave.

Isn’t it worse to hunch over to get a hot and potentially leaky plate out of the microwave than get a wine glass or whatever

genuinely no idea

picking up a plate is a lot harder out of them too as compared to one at chest level. the entire idea of them just doesn't make sense

LOL at these fucking queers. Microwaved food is terrible for you. Spend five more minutes to heat your goyslop on the stove or in the oven and you will be much healthier.

link to microwaves causing cancer?

obviously, gourmet leftovers are better reheated properly, but for a weekday lunch, we don't have time to stand over the stove and reheat stuff and keep turning it so it doesnt burn. we eat healthy enough. we'll live.

Vetoed it for our kitchen remodel. Current microwave is in pantry. Does the job just fine and dandy and can be replaced without spending thousands. Mrs. Tyrwhitt came around to my veto after seeing it in action at other people's houses.
