She was a non-entity and most people had essentially no opinion of her, but might have known one or two negative facts like she sucked on the border. 99% of the support she’s assembled is just Trump hate because lots of people, indeed a durable majority of Americans that bounces between the low 50s to over 60%, routinely show in all manner of measuring their sentiments that they dislike Trump. And unlike her they have lots of information about him and can give a long list of reasons that inform their negative sentiments. He just sucks as a candidate.
