Have to file some NY Complaint pro se where a few of plaintiffs, women of course, want to be anon.
Found the “law of pseudo anonymous litigation” and the guy writes about everything I need and foresees all the relevant questions I or a reader might have.
Shit. After reading this, volokh makes me feel ready to spit SCHOLARSHIP galore to any nyc judge who would hate to listen to me make sense.
anyway I feel that I have more than enough SCHOLARSHIP to file an Osc with tro to have complaint anoned or even sealed when I start Da Action.
Is this common for the questions-research-direction cycle to be this simple?
Am I law’ing correctly?
Why can’t Law review and journals just publish and compile shit that matters, is relevant, and a pain point of questions that anyone, not just those in the profession, might have.

most stuff on the internet about law is either written by morons (who prob arent even lawyers) for morons, or by pseudointellectual douches who want to sound smart rather than helpful
most media articles about law are written by "journalists" who dont even understand wtf they're writing about. it's like how ud BS an essay in HS/college, except this is literally their job.

"Is this common for the questions-research-direction cycle to be this simple?"
it's not. for almost all academics doing "doctrinal" scholarship kills any chance at tenure or prestige. very few do it.
Chief Justice Roberts: “Pick up a copy of any law review that you see, and the first article is likely to be, you know, the influence of Immanuel Kant on evidentiary approaches in 18th Century Bulgaria, or something.”

kerr trolling meester robber on this was 180:
The Influence of Immanuel Kant on
Evidentiary Approaches in Eighteenth
Century Bulgaria
Orin S. Kerr*
Chief Justice Roberts has drawn attention to the influence
of Immanuel Kant on evidentiary approaches in 18th Century
Bulgaria.1 No scholarship has analyzed Kant’s influence in that
context.2 This Article fills the gap in the literature by exploring
Kant’s influence on evidentiary approaches in 18th Century
Bulgaria. It concludes that Kant’s influence, in all likelihood, was
none.

How does Volokh do it then?
Academia who dis???
Seems like he DGAF and produces work that has a direct and immediate impact on society.
Who else should I read that is actually doing academic work relevant to real world problems.
This academic bullshit reminds me of the current hype train of string theory vs. “physicists getting back to doing physics”

he's one of the few exceptions that slipped through the cracks. he's a slightly aspie libertarian who genuinely believes in scholarship that aids judges and lawyers.
