Golf bros, you ever switch to midsize grips?

I just discovered a huge leak in my full iron swings-- my lower lead hand grip slightly detaches right after impact
Seems like my standard grips are too small and bitchmade

I am 6’3 and wear 35” dress shirts.
I grew up fighting a slice like everyone who played baseball + had 90s golf tech to work with. Thin grips help you turn the ball over. Modern clubs don’t cut like they used to so it’s a matter of comfort.
I was a winnmo for a long time which means non tapered besides the grip feeling like a tennis racquet. Been golf pride mc cords one tape layer for the last 10 years or so and it’s worked out better imo. I actually was still using green half cord victory grips on my wedges up until two years ago.

you should honestly spend more time putting and less time researching equipment. Whether it’s with a 35 34 or 36 inch putter matters less.

Bro I've been practicing putts more than anything
I'm easily losing the most strokes from my irons
Last round had 37 putts

anything above 36 is actual dogshit bro. you should be in the 20s. it's also the easiest part of your game to fix.

i played midsize for a few years from when i was 15 to 17 or so. eventually went back to tour velvets but with extra wraps of tape instead
i’d try the golf pride plus fours before a regular midsize. they’re thicker on the lower hand. called plus four as in its like four extra wraps of tape there

I've tried non-tapered (MCC and winn LT) and currently do standard +2 lower only, which is effectively the same
My issue is with lead/ top hand grip though
Should probably just do +2

Bros, I had a MIND-BLOWING revelation last night while meditating on golf swings and grips, that totally simplified everything
If you grip it correctly the back of your lead hand should basically match the face of your club. Eg, your index knuckle is the toe of your club face. If you open your "hand" (club face) too much at the top (with index finger pointing down) then your face will also be toe down and you will definitely swing off line
More importantly it solidified that all that really matters is getting that lead hand squared up before impact.
Now it totally makes sense why my instructor was pushing me to hinge my lead wrist. I can see now how that squares the club face even better while adding more lag (for power)
Saw a pic of Bryson's wrists at impact this morning and it confirmed everything. Back of his lead hand is like perfectly squared and right hand is barely even holding the grip
TLDR, you can just use the back of your lead hand to control club face the entire time or as a visual check at various points in your sequence to make sure you didn't open it (cupping) or close too much (bowing)
