The technique is uncertain but appears to be Kabbalah related, as well as a heaping of typical preying on young men's lusts or feelings. A sort of hypnosis or trance-like state is also involved. Eventually they put them out to pasture and basically render down their souls (esoteric Jewish belief states that individuals can have several souls of many different intensities/sizes) into something or some service uncertain. They sell them off like diamonds, and this is a sort of trade. This is what effectively happened to arkan as far as I can tell btw, and why he seemed so mentally ill at the end there. Again, these are horrible, amoral people and this practice is disgusting. |
