Seems like a bad business model

To be fair,
Sounds like Telsa is running a completely doomed business model that is inevitably going to collapse in on itself, and on top of that the current stock price would be insanely overpriced at the moment even assuming Telsa was running a great business model (which clearly it isn't).
IMO there is literally TONS of money to be made shorting TSLA under these conditions -- in fact, these conditions are basically ideal to make a large fortune in a very short amount of time, assuming that the assumptions above are all correct and true of course haha.
You seem to be convinced that they're all correct and true, so how much of your own money are you putting on the line to short TSLA and make a fortune, my brilliant Jewish Pumo friend?

To be fair,
So... you're *not* actually putting any money at all behind your brilliant thesis?
Wow. Odd case. IDK, maybe I'm just "weird," but I personally love making easy fortunes on sure thing bets within very short time frames. But that's just me, haha yeah (haha).

The whole charging station requirement seems awful to me, politics completely aside.

If you're on the highway don't you have to find a charging station and wait for it to charge up?

Usually it doesn't even take that long, and I have an older EV that can only charge at 150 kWh. Newer models can charge at 350 kWh or higher.
Honestly, the range worries for EV are massively overblown IMHO. First of all, you charge to full at home every night, so unless your commute is 300 miles or more, range is a total non-issue unless you are on a road trip. And when you are road tripping, if the range of your car is greater than the range of your bladder, then the extra car range doesn't do you any good. If I am driving with my family, I can go a maximum of 2-3 hours before someone needs to pee. And when I do stop to charge, inevitably by the time everyone finishes going to the bathroom, stretching, and getting a snack or whatever, my app is sending me notifications saying, "You are approaching your charging limit. Move your car or we will assess idle fees." I can remember maybe 1-2 times where we were ready to go but had to wait a few more minutes for the car to charge. (And remember that I have an older EV that charges more slowly than more recent models.)
If you are constantly going on solo road trips where you try to go as many hours as possible between bathroom breaks, then maybe the charging speed issue would be annoying. But for 99% of people, it's a total non-issue. If anything, it is more convenient, because you never have to worry about having to stop to get gas because the tank is nearly empty when you are already late to work.

teslas have always been remote-controlled spyware platforms. if you like 'owning' a car that can be remotely disabled at any time and which records everything you ever do in or around the car, then go for it.
