if you spent the time you spend tinkering with all this nonsense just practicing your putting you'd be better off regardless what type of putter you have. |

Yeah personal comfort factors are at play, but it's generally accepted that you want your eyes over the ball and arms to mostly hang free
Even a 6'7" NBA player would find 35" too long given the above unless he has t-Rex arms |

That is exactly what happens every time someone buys a 33" to 34.75" putter
I went to Roger Dunn yesterday and majority of putters on the shelf were 34". Every single one of them was chopped down from 35"
35" seems about as common as 33" at retail, but a significant % of 35" (much more than 1%) will absolutely be cut down if the person uses it more than 2-3 times and especially if they get it re-gripped
