Like bifurcating liability and damages for every trial? Premises cases are harder to prove. Having only 60 days to voluntarily dismiss a case sucks - I've saved some cases before by dismissing and refilling.
Seat belt rule is new. I think they can even say you had insurance or not before; you couldn't before. The new shit about medical records and weighing if the work was procedurally necessary was probably the only fair change but it makes PI work harder.
A bunch of PI lawyers are going to probably stop doing this stuff
Insurance companies probably a lot less likely to settle with this stuff. Harm clients with legit injuries. But some of these rules will affect other types of trials too outside of PI
Just sucks |

However people legitimately get hurt and the person who hurts themselves insurance has a responsibility to pay that person for their injuries, by contract. Yet they don't, they fight it to the hilt often , make atrociously low offers etc . It's bullshit and this stuff will hurt a lot of people who get hurt but no attorney will want to bother with their case |
