I have a 18000000000 dog dood and he flew in his first airplane yesterday, in the cabin, chill and sleeping.
Today he had an extremely sensitive ear, yelping when I touched it.
Seems clear the altitude probably bothered him, maybe an infection, an earache.
I’m far from home so just had to walk in to a vet here in SoCal.
Vet charges like $300 just to consult (greet us), and then was like “I think we need full sedation so I can check if an object is in the ear. That will be $1400.”
Bitch there’s no “object”, just give me the antibiotics, some pain pills and piss off.
“Okay that’s $600.”
Almost a grand and I did the diagnosis.
The alternative however is letting a great loving little guy suffer, so you pay.
