Date: July 6th, 2024 2:57 PM Author: Exciting locale the gasket was not affixed correctly to the overflow drain, and there was a bunch of rust and some corrosion now.
1. Wire brush down all the rust. (Already started, the photos show my start. there was rust where you can see the cast iron).
2. apply cold galvanizing compound to cast iron.
3. apply JB weld if there are any deep divets after wiring away the rust???
4. prime and paint |

wire brushed all the rust off and top layer of paint and put JB Weld steel epoxy on it. tomorrow I will sand it down into shape, put a cold galvanizing compound (I think?) on it, prime and paint.
