Anyone get completely blindsided by cheating?

This happened during Covid when, overnight, he wasn't out of the house for 80+ hours/week and quickly led to divorce. This black guy and his kid moved into the house this guy once shared with his wife and 4 kids. To add even more insult to injury, his old home office is now where new black shrink hubby sees his own patients. Nebbish Partner's own kids won't even talk to him - doubtless they were brainwashed by his evil wife - and the older kid, a mulatto 20 year old ne'er do well who moved in, has corrupted at least 2 of his brood, giving them benzos and cocaine. I heard that 3 of his kids are on SSRIs now and really fell off in terms of academic/athletic achievement since the divorce. He is still plugging away. Rents a studio a few blocks from the office. Goes out of his way to try and see his kids but, the last I heard, they won't even agree to spend time with him anymore. He dutifully pays the $8k mortgage every month.
