He’s Muslim

Kareem Badawi was a 2024 graduate of the Episcopal School of Baton Rouge and had this fall started at UA, where he pledged to join the Sigma Chi fraternity.
“It is with great sadness and grief, and with hearts satisfied with Allah’s decision and destiny, I announce the death of my son,” his father, Belal Badawi, posted on Facebook. “We ask Allah Almighty to shower his mercy on him, and give us patience and strength to overcome.”

islam really is a different creature than christianity
The differentiation of the Godhead into Father-Son-HS, the incarnation of the son and his suffering... these things really give Christians space and traction to express anger and frustration at God.
Jesus wept when Lazarus died. He felt, deeply, the loss that humans feel. The seeming injustice of God. And his whole incarnational purpose was to rectify this, to redeem the suffering. In a sense, he functions kind of oppositionally to God the Father. That skirts on blasphemy, but its real nonetheless.
Islam, with their all-everything Allah, have no theological space to question or bristle against God's will. And never having been incarnate, Allah seems far more removed and indifferent. Your kid can get dragged under a Ford Lightning for two blocks, and all you can be is "satisfied"

part that most jumps out to me is "tragic accident".
in what way, under what definition of the english word, was any of this an accident?
Ill grant whatever allowance to a grieving father, pbuh, but i would expect an exaggeration towards condemnation not an exaggeration towards permission
